WHY THE RKINAN SCHOOL
An eminent social worker who was groomed under the noble and patriotic influence of his mother Rani Dhanraj Pati Bakshi , a freedom fighter. As a young widow at 18 she developed her little to the freedom movement and died at the age of 39 due to injuries from a lathi charge at Lahore.
Young Raj Kumar Bakshi was much influenced by his mother living in courageous and turbulent times. He made vast contributions in the Bhoodan movement and was a strong supporter of the freedom struggle himself. As a social worker and philanthropist he alleviated several lives and gave hope to many to live better.
